The Crawley Clinic - Provisional Psychologist

 

Leah from The Crawley Clinic is a provisional psychologist who also has a Master of Criminology, and has previously worked with adults within the criminal justice system as a forensic case manager, and also with at-risk adolescents as a youth worker. Leah has also worked with individuals living with disability and their support networks as a behaviour support practitioner. Leah’s previous work experiences have involved her passion to support people non-judgmentally from a strengths-based, trauma-informed and evidence-based framework. She incorporates aspects of CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology into her work.

Leah also has an interest in working with adults who have experienced grief, loss, neglect and trauma, and working alongside them to support them to identify their own strengths, move towards achieving their goals, and living a fulfilling life.

​

Leah was born and raised in Melbourne, however she has been loving living in Tasmania since January 2021. In her spare time, Leah enjoys going to the beach with her dog Benson, going on long drives and exploring, camping and bushwalking, or curling up on the couch with a great book or movie. She has also travelled to over 30 countries and lived and worked overseas as well as having travelled the east coast of Australia.

 

Leah will be available for telehealth sessions Australia wide and face to face sessions in Southern Tasmania.
